Brad, there are many of us who would love a smaller Southard-designed flipper by Spyderco.

Some really outstanding Southards in this thread.

I just got my first Southard on Monday, and the only thing I've done so far is tweak the pocket clip. I like the overall appearance of the stock pocket clip, but wanted to reshape the bottom to better follow the curve of the handle. I then did a brief stonewash, and polished with a little elbow grease. Looks a bit better I'd say.

I am conflicted about pimping this knife though, I love the way it looks as is. Guess I'll need to buy some more :)

That's the scale that I've been looking for. I have a beautiful smooth CF scale but would like to have one with a little more grip during deployment. Who did the work? If you can't mention it here, send me a pm if you don't mind.
 
It's amazing how thinning out the scales affect the over-all feel & handling of the knife (with comparison pic). Loving the smooth LSCF grip on this! :thumbup:
