my favorite fixed blade is the one I am making at any given point in time!

seriously, the Moran, Russell, and Scagel blades are all great history. The funny thing, I was looking at the blades first as a knife maker and not a collector, and was looking at which ones I thought would function best. I picked the Russel, Moran, and Scagel without noticing who had made them. It was only after I went back that I realized that the ones that looked as if they should function the best were by this famous trio of smiths.
