  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Lets see your Fiddleback Forge knives!

Fiddleback Friday Preview!! I'll be doing previews in the FF forum from now forward. Spark is going to unarchived it for us.
Andy, thank you for putting the time and effort into getting that resolved. I know you are very busy making beautiful knives and with family and such. Just wanted to thank you for helping us out. We will enjoy having the Fiddleback Forge Forum back since we use a lot of the different threads in there. So thank you from all us Fiddleback Forge Fans. VERY excited to see the previews come back as well. That was always something to look forward to weekly. Many of us have missed that.

I don't have a picture because it doesn't exist yet. I want a nice wood handled hiking buddy with a matching hiking buddy jr. I think the plan to get that would be to do FFU and make one while Andy makes the other. That's my plan for next year. So like 2K for two knives. That sounds high. And bourbon. And would have someone watching me so I don't go too far off the rail. Plus it would be educational and then I could bring back little more knowledge to my garage to help me with my own stuff. I've bought a KMG grinder but haven't set it up yet. I have a good friend in Raleigh, NC that makes great knives that has taken his time and shop to teach me how to do it while letting me do it myself because that's how I learn. Thanks Paul if you read this.

I guess I could ask Andy if he would make these for me and then I could go to the class and make a bushboot. Of course it would have to be the most fanciest and best of all time. Most of yall haven't had the pleasure of my sarcasm but when the forum is back up you will learn. I might come off as a prick but that's not who I am. I just talk a lot of smack with sarcasm. My wife just ignores me. LOL

The class is $1500 for the two day class. $750 for the one day class.

In the 2 day class we start from scratch. In the one day class we start w a heat treated blade and go from there.

In the 2 day class you work on two knives and I make one to show you how. You walk w both of your knives. Mine is available as is any other in stock that day (currently 40 ish). So far we haven't lost any knives. IE I was able to fix even the roughest. In the 1 day class you finish one and thats your knife. My teaching knife or any other in stock is available.

So you could do your set in the 2 day class. And this won't cost $2k. And I'll make a Bushboot for you to buy while you learn.
