Let's see your GEC #23's, 73's, 83's and 72's

First recent Traditional purchase and my first GEC. Not the prettiest #72 offering but the quality so far is impressive. If it proves to be as useful as I need out of a pocket carry knife, I can see hunting down some better looking folders in the near future!!! (not sure why these first two pics arent oriented right, they look right on photobucket)

This knife calls out to me every day....since the day it came to me 2 years ago.
 
New fav GEC. Hunted down an African Blackwood 72, one of two in stock at this particular retailer, and included a note requesting the darker of the two if there's a noticeable difference, because I wanted solid black but I know it's slim pickin's this late in the game for this one. Got it yesterday and I'm very pleased! It's a very dark brown with some slightly lighter brown streaks if you look closely. I may even like it better than if it had been solid black. Color tone is warm and rich and why do I not have more wood traditionals?

Kind of wish I'd bought this version first instead of the olive micarta, except micarta looks like it wants to be a work knife and the dark wood looks more like a gentleman's folder, if there is such a thing as a traditional gentleman's folder with a back lock, so I'm glad to have both after all. :)
 
Nice variety pack WillieD!!! Various blades, handle material, trim level... Is the one on the far right a 23?

83 from a SFO "Black Camel Bone"


 
Its an African Blackwood 42. The lock is in a shadow. I take very poor pics...lol. Thanks for the compliment!
 
The 73 is sized better for me but my elk 72 is by far the the more striking.
