Let's see your GEC #23's, 73's, 83's and 72's

Trand : I feel like somone should be playing Taps for your loss of your One Time Collection !!!!!!!!!!

Harry

Thanks Harry but its not really a loss... I was fortunate enough to have them together for a while and have the pics as a reminder. The ones that moved on went to people who also appreciate GEC knives. The Red American Elk for example, 2nd from the left, GEC will never make those again but the new owner carried and put that guy to work. As all these knives should be. The 2 Grizzly jigged bone ones on the right for example are my 2 users in the #72 pattern that I've kept while others came and went.

Sorry, snuck in a pic of one of my #42's :D Birds of a feather so to speak......

I sure wish they'd make the 42 without the lock! I'd own one for sure in a slipjoint pattern!!!:D

That would be a sweet knife that will probably come along sooner than later seeing as they did make a trapper version already. I love the #42 as is as I like a large lock back. I'm longing for the big gun to come along, the #23 in a lock back! :D

My beloved Northfield 72 in burnt orange bone.

Fantastic, I love the worn look!

My one time collection of #72s...

Wow Trand, that was a nice collection! I wish I could have gotten my hands on a couple of those beauties.

This #72 was my first GEC and because of it my bank balance has struggled ever since as I buy more and more of them.

Very nice Brumby!

Here is my beloved #72, I've decided it's my favorite traditional knife that I own. If they did another run of them I would probably go broke buying them up. ;)

and my new #83...

I have this thread to thank...
just came in yesterday and do like the #73...pull is about 7 and I'm a lefty. Feels like an 8-9 going right handed. I'm gonna like carrying this one often.
The yellow rose 83 is wonderful and thinking of another.

Here's my two #42's, both in Natural Stag.
The left one is a user and the right one is kept as a backup.
A #83 in Stag is in the mail, as these GEC's are hard to resist.

Thanks Harry. It's actually my first GEC. I will be following their new releases as they come out.
