Hey Sithlord, is that a model IX?

That is practically THE exact knife I want... I'm planning to try and get India Stag handles, but aside from that, you have the very knife I want.

Nice post.

GO05T,

Yes, Welcome to your new home.:) I know you will enjoy it here.

Here is one like sithlord_1968's knife, only this one is dressed in smooth natural bone and nickle silver furniture instead of brass..

sithlord,

Very sweet knife up above, sorry I missed this one the first post/time around. Eddie is one helluva great knife maker and the finest of fellows to be sure! Thanks for the link provided I enjoyed it.

Hey Anthony,
are the rivets on the second knife nickel silver as well or are they brass? I cant quite tell.
And I dont need to tell you, that this one is just as beautiful.

Anyone here get the privilege of walking away with any of these??

I had to dredge this old thread back up to celebrate getting back(from a neighbor) one of my cool custom knives made by my pal Whitt .. Let it be a lesson to those here who may lend out they're fine tools(or in this case sheath knives)to other folks who may not want to return said tools/sheath knives.. He is a good guy for the most part(my neighbor) but he is one of those neighbors that is always borrowing one (or more) of your tools and tells you he will bring it back right away but somehow you never get it back when he says. In this case several months ago.

Anyway, the knife is a very cool hand made sheath knife produced entirely of recycled materials..

The blade is an old high carbon steel Nicholson Mill Bastard file made in the good ole United States of America. The big round stock Stag Antler comes from a Montana Elk buck. The hardware is high grade Copper scrap from heavy duty ground rods supplied originally to one of the power & electric companies in Gorgia.

I love the look of the pommel but she was installed for function and weight distribution to balance this fine ole cutting tool.. And she does cut!

That's a beauty Sunny.
Gotta love carbon steel and stag :D

Here's the latest off my work bench...

Blade from TXknifemakers supply, cow bone with red spacers.
Too bad I didn't have red spacer material when I did the caper last year.
Then they would have really matched.

Sooooooooooooooooo many great blades in this thread, we can't let it sink.

Keep buying or at least, keep digging in the closet :D

Yo Ebb,

You really are turning the tide on these knives you are producing!!.

Super looking cutter's my brother!. Your's keep getting better and better every time I see them..

Keep up the fine work!!:thumbup::thumbup:

Best,

Anthony

sunnyd, now that's a cutlery DREAM of treeman colection!!

I'll ad a scagel style 5" blade in O1, handforged and convex grind, beautifull handle made from brass, snake wood, horse hide, ebony, cocobolo and a stag crown.

My Grandfather's Edge Brand Model 487. This knife had seen much use when he passed in 1972, so I can only guess it is from the 60's...
