Let's see your good old basic fixed blades, Bowie's, Stickers, etc.

If anyone has been on the fence about picking up an Old Hickory knife, this may be your last chance to get an old-stock made-in-USA one. Ontario Knife Company has been sold and the factory closed. 😞

I just ordered one of these, mainly because I like the stamp.

I ordered the sp alpha combat knife I've had in my cart for a while. I don't like the name, but it reminds me of the Schrade OT 165.

I may have to pick one of these up for my leather working kit, there's not too much else from OKC that I actually need right now.
I don't think I really need to rush on it though because they've got them at my local hardware and stuff like this doesn't exactly move quickly.
I was thinking of buying one of the new old hickory outdoors compact machetes but I've got bills to pay and an existing project I need to finish , and I expect that they'll probably be MIA by the time I can try to buy one.
I guess I probably should have bought one last month , but OKC is one of those companies I take for granted because they've been around so long I just kind of assume their knives will be available.

I found this Bowie at a yard sale today.
Marked: “THE CLUB” E.T. ALLEN.S.F
A brief google search yielded a Club with stag handle with a heafty price tag 😎 so I’m feeling pretty good. This one is smooth bone with a non-pin crack, sharpened on a grinder likely, and a sheath that has a metal sleeve inside.

I was sorry to hear that. Fortunately, I am pretty well stocked with OH knives. In theory, there are a couple I might want to pick up some day, but if they get made in China, probably not.

I just found that Cayuga on sale for a price that was too good to pass up. I was never interested at the posted prices, but this was one where I had to wonder if it was too low. We’ll see.

That's my favorite blade of the three, though I have no personal connection to that lake.
I'm guessing there won't be a sheath, but 🤞. A Schrade Pro Hunter sheath works pretty well.
