Thanks! I was ensorcelled by the flat grind and long belly curve. And the long point.

I know what you mean about needing, though.. I'll be trying it on vegetables today.
And I'll see how it handles any coyotes that are drawn into my kitchen by the aroma of carrots and cabbage.
And onion.

[It did nicely on potatoes, carrots, onions, and cabbage. There was a little wedging of larger carrot wheels, but they didn't jump far. It also works well in a paring knife grip in the fingers, drawing the edge toward the thumb.]

Thanks, I've been meaning to look around and see who offers what. I'm not quite sure how to yet apart from checking their profiles for possible services offered and what not. Tho I know there's a forum for em so I'll give er a gander.
