at first i thought it would be tan. the pictures for the one i bought were much lighter. i was going to switch out the scales for brown or carbon fiber anyway, but to my surprise :)
 
I went to the east coast custom knife show this past weekend and loved the show, I called Neil from True North Knives a week in advance to bring and hold a couple of knives for me and he said sure. I got the VIP passes and went over to the TNK booth right away and looked at the Large Sebenza Micarta and loved it instantly and purchased it right there. Then I looked at a Strider SMF stonewashed S35VN blade with a black handle and I really liked that as well so I decided to buy that also. I didn't have correct change for the knives so Neil gave me a break I will 100% do business with him and his son again.

The Strider is so smooth I love it and the Sebenza is exactly what I love about CRK after owning some.

You just picked up two of the most beautiful knives out there.

Thanks TacOpsEDC and thanks macknife12, I appreciate the comments. Had to sell off a few Spyderco's to get the Microtech's but I couldn't be happier. The Whaleshark was one of my favorites but now the custom DOC takes first place. What an amazing knife, love the carbon fiber and the workmanship.
