Lets see your latest acquisition

Real sweet all. I don't know why but knives just get my juices going.

I've made a few recent purchases. One is a Benchmade Contego that I loved upon opening (smooth action, not too rough for my hands, M4 steel, nice blade shape, but not as pretty as my BM710 --- great design & weight on the 710). I also just received my first Paramilitary (camo, black blade) --- I looked at it and looked at my Tenacious: both very sharp, Tenacious opens more easily, Tenacious much cheaper --- but the more I played with the Paramilitary 2 I finally began to understand why it's so popular --- I adjusted it a bit, it started to loosen up and I get the idea it could last a very long time (much longer than the Tenacious). No, it's not a Sebenza (that is elegant simplicity at its best), but it's fairly good looking and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it (including S30V steel) --- especially at 3.8 ounces. And lefty friendly --- except for those who like to open and close folders fast (nothing wrong with that!) --- but I'll accept nice smooth movement and a soft click --- like on my large Sebbie --- if I have grandkids this will probably outlast them! :-)

This one:

I found these two beauties in a toolbox in a friend's barn today. Gave him $5 for them both. Not too bad.

I nominate the Schrade for top honors in the "Sharpening Hall of Fame" :D

Just arrived today... :)

A Josiah Gravelle FK-SM custom in CPM 3V. Hardened to Rc 61.... Can't wait to get some serious hard use on this baby!
Thats a large teklock in the second photo to give you some sense of scale.

How do you like the Gravelle? I have been drooling over His knives for a while and have yet to pull the trigger.

And what a beauty as a new acquisition. I want this one, but can't afford it - maybe someday!

I want to see the latest knife that you have acquired. It doesn't matter if it's new, used, production, custom, purchased, or traded. And as always....if there is no picture, it isn't true. I'll start:

A little blingy for my tastes, but very nice. Darrel really does nice work.
