A three-part Composite Blade: CPM D2 steel on the cutting edge and spine and Sandvik stainless 14C28N forming the angular design in the middle. 3D-machined carbon fiber handles that are lightweight and strong.
A sub-frame lock with titanium lockbar and hardened steel lockbar insert provides reliable blade lockup.
The blade opens with a flipper and moves on the KVT ball-bearing opening system.
I love it. It fires and locks up stronger than any other OTF I've ever handled. Mine is the BHQ exclusive with the satin DLC finish, which is pretty hard to photograph. In person, it is stunning! The DLC really makes it look admirable rather than tacticool. Below is about the best shot of the blade finish I could manage on a phone, and without a proper backdrop+light sources.
Also, my plain small Sebenza came in yesterday. It puts pretty much every other folder I've ever owned to shame.
