Let's See Your Little Un's !!!

Thanks Mtn Mike will do!

Stage2, if you throw a pair of the large scissors on that I'll trade ya' my sister for it! Who?Where? How much? What knife did you start with? Droooooolllll!

I'd tell ya, but I'd have to kill ya. That is unless you are a member of SOSAK. ;)

Head over to knifeforums and you shall see the light.

Ok so we have had the Survival knives and Camp knives so now let's see some pics of your little Knives, let's say those with blades 3" and under !

Bought the same buck at wally world for one of my nephews christmas presents.

Great knife pics folks !

Guyon , funny reply there . :D

Hey Bro , any chance of another pic of the Ivory handled blade by itself ? That really looks killer !!! and specs too please if possible , I really dig how that knife looks.

Also , whats your opinion of the Fixed Falcon ? I have one that I have modded and used the heck out of , and although the steel is not really optimum for a blade , I am suprised at how well mine takes and holds an edge , I use it for bad chores at work where I don't want to mess up my purty edc. :D

Here are some more pics of it....

And in sheath.....

That Falcon is my best user of any knife I have in that size. It was cheap but came sharper then many Spydie's I own! Now with it's new handles I have a better grip and it just plain looks better. What sort of mods did you give yours?

Thanks for the pics , that is one nice looking blade.

I thinned the grind some and gave it more of a point , added some jimping in a few spots and have thought about changing the scales but have not done that yet. Oh , and I made a little leather pocket sheath for it.
I hate to admit it is made from plain 'ol 420j2 but man does it take an edge and like I said I use it for chores like boxes and cleaning grime off of messy equipment , what really suprised me was how long the edge lasted in cutting up the boxes , being as CRKT runs their steels soft and it's sorta crappy steel compared to something like O1,D2, or even 440C.
Although after some rwading there is more than one company that uses 420J2 in their laminates with VG10 or similiar at the core.
So I guess it has it's uses. :)

It is very hard for me not to do some sort of a mod on every knife I own. I cant resist it. :D

Here's a few I started a while back. I'll finish them some day. Blades on all are under 2".

I too have a fetish for modding my fixed blades!:D (with finishes on the carbon blades)

I thought the fixed falcon was AUS6? It's really hard to tell seeing as they don't label their blades.

You ought to try putting handles on your Falcon. The grip is substabtially better without that exposed pomnel.

O-1 is an amazing steel. My LUK, the first pic, from Scott Tanguay stays sharp longer then any of my Spyderco's (VG-10 and S30V). At 61RC O-1 really shines!

The D-2 on Lamont's Sparrowhawk (the knife you are admiring) works surprising well on woods despite it's hollow grind. The handle is actually Tan G-10 and the blade is about .140 thick.

Small fixed blade and folder custom that my wife bought me, who could not tell me anything about them. They are great knives and hold a great edge.

Those are some of the coolest knives I've seen, especially the two with the holes inthe handles. That wharncliffe is amazing.
