I was issued a sidearm for most of my military service so I did not carry a M7 much. The folders that I used were mainly CRKT, a M16-02 Tanto and a Marzitelli Prowler. Still love the ergonomics of the Prowler.

I had one of those, but I think my son "borrowed" it, because I haven't seen it in years. A parachute rigger told me once that the switchblade part was supposed to be on the shroud cutter & not on the knife, but it was just another one of those gov contracts that had gone wrong around that time. I don't know if that's true or not, but it makes sense.

These were part of Aviation Life Support Equipment/ALSE and not really paratroop issue (I graduated Rigger school nearly 27 years ago).
