Just write Luke a note. He's really good at communicating via email. He'll make you whatever you want (within reason! ;)) so you can have a completely custom look. He is a consummate craftsman.

I don't let any of the blades stay dirty for long; I don't want to invite rust or discoloration for the most part. The G-10 on my standard black PM2 is likely pretty dirty but I can't see it. I assume so because the G-10 on my orange model is starting to get dulled in some areas and I don't carry that one nearly as often. As for the photos, I think this is because most folks take photos when their knife is new and just re-use the same one. At least, I do a lot of the time.
 
I carry my 20CP with me everywhere - it does a lot of work, but gets cleaned up every evening.

There she is. Not the prettiest PM2. The g10 has some dirt in the texturing the blade has a bit of scratches but no matter how beat up shes mine and i love her :D (sorry for bad pic I did it with my phone also sorry if the picutre doesnt work this is my first time uploading)
