Let's see your paracord wrapped grips.

Thanks Martin and blues. I'm gonna do a paracordist rock sling soon (video) then finally part 4 on the Turks head wrap.

At least one more slinger here. I've got a 6 strand braided paracord sling on the rack I need to finish. Weave the pouch, finish the release cord, and collect some more rocks. I gotta try those turks head knots on my practice bokken.

Wow. Those turks head wraps from paracordist are so nice I threw up with envy. Gotta do it.

This far I can get :o My neck knife.
Amazing work on Fiskars.
How much paracord do I need to do something like this?
Is there a tutorial on making those lanyards? They look really classy.

your neck knife wrap is very cool!

MAIN HANDLE = a long 3-turn turks head knot with 3 individual 17'+/- strands makeup the main handle for a total of 50' +/- TUTORIAL: SEE MY CHANNEL FOR "Paracordist How To: the long turks head knot PART 1" (also part 2 and 3) this video tutorial series was done with the fiskars, so it will show you exactly how many turns and 'spirals' you'll need to make this 14" hatchet.

TOPPER KNOT = a 5-turn turks head knot with 1 individual 5'+/- strand (w/ inner cords removed) TUTORIAL: see "Using a peg board / former for complex paracord turks head knots; paracord handle hiking staff "

ADJUSTABLE WRIST LANYARD = 4 individual 4'+/- strands in a 4-strand round braid for a total of 16'+/- In total, there is more than 65' of paracord in this hatchet. TUTORIAL: For the braid see: "Paracordist How To: the weighted monkeys fist lanyard - manrope knot and 4 strand round braid"
For the two strand diamond knot on the end, see: "two strand diamond knot loop + 7' of paracord = adjustable paracord belt - field expedient"
for the turks head used as a slider, see: "Paracordist's How To - the paracord Nantucket Bracelet (Turks Head)"

paracordist you have some crazy skills bro!! i am going to watch your videos but sadly, i doubt i will ever be able to recreate something like that.

I might be wrong but it looks like most of you are removing the inner strands. Is that right?
BTW nice work all.

in my pics, all have inner strands left intact with the exception of the "topper" knot on the hatchet and the lanyard on the hatchet.

I leave the strands in. Adds a little more bulk to aid in grip for something like a skeletonized handle as on the izula.

My BK14 as it looks at the moment, might give it a slightly heavier patina. The wrap is pretty basic, easy to do, but still looks great. My opinion.
