Let's see your rare or unusual knife

I can't remember how long ago I got this, I think I got it from AG Russell' "Cutting Edge" site. I still have the box, it's from "Condor Sport Knives", made in Seki, Japan. I also have a folder but no pix of it.

They've both been up before, but I'll show them again;

Tracker's Forge (Bob Alderman) Blacksmiths D-Guard Cutlass and Dagger. And his version of a Hudson Bay.

Bob is a 4th generation left-handed blacksmith out of Idaho. These are both one-of-a-kind and very large.

The Hudson was an article cover knife a few years back....

They're just really nicely done, I'm proud to own them.

Ernie's customs are pretty hard to come by. Here's 2 of the rarest in his CQC series, the CQC-9. Bolstered 9's are rare, and there's only 1 full-dressed CQC-9.

I've yet to see another of these in person :) and further I've yet to hear of anyone else who EDCs it if they even own it.

like the looks of the gypsy jack. honestly though, is it worth the exorbitant price they ask? I feel all emersons are kind of over priced

It IS kind of overpriced, and requires a bit of modification out of the box to be EDC-able, sanding the scales w/ a little 400-grit and stretching the pocket clip out. Though it's nothing I would not expect to do to a new knife. Overall I'm extremely pleased with it (hence the screen-name) and I'll say that for the $250~ I paid for it (new) it stays sharp like nobody's business and I mean come on, it's just bad a-- looking ;)
