My 12 oz Scandium .357. After reading about the pain that comes with shooting full power loads through it I've decided I'm not going to do that, thank you very much. +P's will do just fine.

S&W M36 as it came from the factory:

And one from the opposite end of the spectrum - single action w/ a 12" barrel:

.45 Colt - 500 gr of lead, 250 at a time...dealing "seconds" wasn't worth it, I've heard.

Best.

Old S&W .38 special bodyguard from the early 80's. Some holster wear from being carried but still in good shape.

My old S&W model 60 from early 70's. This guy has been a lot of miles with me.

And for those times when you absolutely have to have deep concealment;

I had a Model 60 almost exactly like that. It was de-horned and the Tyler grip adapter was black. I sold it last year for a ridiculous price on gun broker.
I shot a lot of Plus P ammo through it and it rattled when you shook it, but it still shot good.

Besides the NAA, I kept two snubbys.

I have had this S&W 640 for a long time. I shoot it mostly with standard velocity ammo and it is still as tight as when it left the factory. You don't gain much shooting
Plus P through a 2" barrel and it's hard on the gun.

There is not much you can say about a SP-101. It's heavy, but that makes it pleasant to shoot.

None of my snubs has ever had anything but wadcutter ammo through them. I take it easy on the J frame guns.

Great thread. Don't have a pic at the moment, but carry a S&W 642. Love carrying that wheelie. Looking into a .357 snubbie next.... possibly a SP101.

Not good. Seriously. You need to correct the end shake and likely the timing. I'd check the crane and yoke too.

I agree. I like semi wadcutters if I can find them. I have only shot about 25 +p's in mine and even though it is rated for them I find a regular .38 is better for me for accuracy. One of these days I'll reload my own.
