My most-carried pocket gun: S&W 442.

NICE little setup there

Thank you. You are destined for great things around here.

Here's another favorite of mine. At 28 ounces loaded, its a heavy sucker though I do pocket carry it. Awesome gun if you are into beefy stubbies. No worries about shooting the spicy stuff in this one.

Ruger SP-101 .357 magnum.

down here without much heavy winter clothing, the Federal 125grain NyClads work pretty well... old technology, but shoot point of aim in my 442, and pretty good stop record

with the lite weight Fobus paddle

A note about wadcutters in snubbies..... I used to load the slug in backwards. Makes a mean flying cookie cutter.

Powernoodle, My brother has the SP101 and loves it. I Can't wait to shoot it. He sold of his 642 to get the LCR and SP. He turned into a Ruger fan. I prefer the quality of S&W over Ruger , but Ruger makes a nice quality piece.

Les, I've yet to find some nylon clad. I'll bet the make for easy cleaning on the barrel. I would use them. Probably good for wear and tear.

navihawk... years ago I did a reaction time shooting video for a PBA lawyer in an officer involved shooting case... it went to a Federal Mediator, and while waiting to give testimony, was able to talk with the Pinellas/Pasco (Florida) Medical Examiner...when asked about the NyClad, she responded that was very effective on her "clients"...I like it because it is very controllable, and shoots about 1" above point of aim at 15y... I don't really shoot the 442 that much.. a G34 is my competition pistol, and I pocket carry an LCP and a G17 in a car bag

I had a chance to shoot my nephews 19 and I managed to get some nice grouping. I want one now.

Here is mine. A S&W 442 with the cylinder cut for moon clips. Also pictured is a Tuff Strip with spare ammo, Alfa Knife by Damon Lusky, and Veleno D2.

Nice stuff guys. So many variants of these. There's guys over the S&W forum that just collect snubs. It's quite impressive to see about ten of them laid out

Got this from my dad, a Colt Commando 2". It was not his issued service revolver; he acquired it after the war was over in 1945. Most of these had the 4" barrel, and some of those were even cut down to 2" to try and make them more valuable. This one is an unmodified 2", so it is original.

After the war, he kept this in his briefcase and even had to pull it out in self defense once when he was getting in his car to come home from the office.
