While I'm a sucker for wood and steel/brass I do like my more tactical Bucks. Here are a few I have photos of. In addition to these I have a Buck Simonich Raven Legacy that is super cool.

Those nighthawks are nice. My kid brother use to have one. Right now there are actually a few of Buck's tactical knives that kind of strike my fancy. The thug, punk, and reaper all look good to me. I'd like the new nighthawks but don't get the holes in the blade. The sentry would be another if it didn't have serrations.

I've got my eyes on the punk. Will likely have one before the year is over.

I don't have much in the way of tacticals but here are 2 I rehomed from Matt Jannusch here on the forum last year. 187 Intrepids from the late 90's. Offered in Chisel Point and Tanto. Marked BUCK over U.S.A. without a date code. These were not in the catalog very long. I think the current offerings are based on these originals. There was also a larger version, the Intrepid 189.

Badhammer--

what is the knife in the second image from the top, the one above the Buck/Strider? It looks like a Nighthawk handle with an M3 blade. Is that a custom/modification or a production blade? If the latter, what model is this?

My thanks.

That is a 651 Pigsticker. All I can recall is that Buck made them for an order going to Australia and a few stayed here in the states. If you do a search for 651 and or Pigsticker you should come up with some info.

This is about as tactical as my Buck's get...Buck Strider Tarani B882 BKX...picked it up for a song from a knife website when on clearance.

I've got a couple others (Buck Strider folder, etc), but this 184 is the most 'Tacticool' of 'em all.
