Lets see your tanks

My band of knives is paltry compared to some of the Busse collections I've seen lately...

That must be close to 50K worth of knives! damn that excessive!

but pretty damn awesome!

I have a few tanks. This thread motivated me to clean my safe out and take some long-overdue pics for insurance purposes. I have too many to put in one pic easily, so I had to take several.

None of these knives are under 12" in OAL. These aren't all of them, just the ones which weren't someplace serving a purpose.

I'll arrange them pretty much in order of size, from smallest to largest. Unfortunately the knives are arranged right to left. Sorry!

A lot of my big knives are HI khuks or other models by HI. When you say "HI", you may as well say "tank", because that's what they are.

Here's an example; this pic shows a Dan Koster Monster Nessie (on the right in the pic) and an HI R1 or Grass Knife. The Koster knife's blade is 1/4"!!

If you see something in the pics you want identified, let me know. It would take to long to try to ID them all.

That would be hard to do. I was my first "real" combat knife after I crossed over and was commissioned a 2LT. I still have the magazine add where it was being held by a skeleton in a cofffin...I figure even then it would be hard to pry out of my fingers:D
