Did you do something to the spiral grooves? They are a good bit different from each other.

No. I "antiqued" the one on the bottom with fine steel wool, then 400-grit, then 800-grit, then 1000-grit WetorDry sand paper.
The result makes the spiral pattern stand out much more. Here they are in sunlight:

Those are nice looking knives, what do they usually run? I see on his site he isn't taking orders anyway.

a little under $600 for a plain one from Scott Cook himself, on the secondary market, anywhere from $900 to $2000+. for the decorated ones, even more. they're absolutely worth it if you can get it on the lower end of that range.

Hey motts, I just got one of them the other day too. I love the Galyean Pro Series knives. I got the KnifeArt Turbulence to go with my TNK large Lahar.

I need to get a some pics posted of my new framelocks.

Thanks guys. I hadn't even heard of Galyean knives until a couple weeks ago, lol. I love the Turbulence model. Perfect EDC size. Can't believe how light the knife is. Absolutely love the crossbones. Very original, unique, stylish, and well thought out knife.

Absolutely diggin the cross bones! I don't usually even dig 'logos' in handles but that is really dope. Great knife!
