I got a new ti frame lock in the mail yesterday so I thought I would get a couple of pics of my latest lineup.

Forgive my ignorance.I know nothing about folders except that I want one.I have been looking at the George FM1'S.I love the look of them and from what I have read about him,I would not be dissapointed.Who makes the knife above the George and if you had to choose between the two, which one would you keep?

The knife above the FM-1 is a Tom Mayo large TNT. It was about $250 more than the all ti FM-1.
I sold the FM-1 but only to finance a more expensive version with a mosaic damascus bolster and carbon
fiber front scale. I can't really explain why but I prefer the George. They are both very nice ti frame locks.

Thanks so much for your reply. They are both gorgeous.I was leaning towards the George and the extra $250.00 has made up my mind! Thanks again.

Nice! How about some details (complete) on that bad boy. :)

Wilson Rapid Response Folder. I think (not positive so anyone feel free to correct me) it was colab between the Wilson son and D. Ralph. Ti, frame lock, S30V, USA made, About 3.25" blade, teflon coated...good sized blade for edc...nice ergo's. Found it sitting on the shelf at SMKW with dust on it. They wanted 279.00 but it was the display model and last one left so the manager took off 15%. I don't know if it was a good deal or if I got robbed blind....but I like the knife.

You should never buy one then cuz you'd automatically start playing around with it and get really sick. ;)

I really dont have a desire to own one, i know they are crazy popular (0bviously) But what turns me off of chris reeve is that if i flick the knife open i void the warranty. Now i dont need a superfolder, but that just makes me shake my head. As for the Hinderer, it looks way too big and thick to be anything id want to pull out in a mall to open a clamshell package. I did jump over both of them for slicing ability and 2nd type of cool and get in contact with Yuna though ;)

Nice knives you've got there JOS.

I got a couple new ti framelocks recently.

This deserves another look...awesome!
Here is the Mini Explorer by Filip DeCoene. It's bigger brother is now in a design museum.
The timeless design is inspired by prehistoric flint knives, transformed into a minimalist 21st century approach, being a titanium framelock with carbon fiber scale at the other side.
It is probably my most attractive knife:

CN it is a Shirogorov Model 95 titanium frame lock flipper. I'm diggin it too.
The knife is from a Russian maker I don't know a lot about. TNK had a couple
batchs of these in different blade steels and scale designs. They are gone for now.
