Let's see your Traditional Case knives, old to new.

My dad was puttering around in the garage as usual, and unburied this oldie, in sheath and all. He came to ask me if it was mine, and it's a knife he gave me for my 9th birthday. I haven't seen since high school. It's 30 years old now, I have no idea the model. Here it is with my sak.

Alan, the 051L was in production from 1977 until 1989. There are quite a few variations, including stag, aluminum, stainless, and one with brass bolsters on both ends. From what I read in Pfieffer's book, the last run was from 1991 until 1996. There is at least one variation with a clip point.
