I’ve been itching to get a Texas Jack for quite some time, and that pic isn’t helping me resist. What a nice patina.

They're definitely a great knife.
I did modify the secondary into a clip though, they look like a standard pen blade in many stock photos but for some reason they actually have this funky drop point shape I just didn't care for.

I am a big fan of the California Clip 047 XX’s. Does anyone know why these are a tad bit longer than the regular 47’s when closed?

I am a big fan of the California Clip 047 XX’s. Does anyone know why these are a tad bit longer than the regular 47’s when closed?

I don't know why they did it, but it's likely at least part of part of the reason for the "0" in the pattern - 63047 vs. 6347.

Well, I went through all my knife places here at home - shop, shed, house, etc., collected all the Case knives I could find (99.9% sure I got them all) and with the exception of the ones I'm picturing below, sold them all. Had to thin the collection so away they went.

First post here in the land of CASE knives. Old 6347 I picked up for a song because the sheeps foot blade was shortened. Took my small file to it and made it better. The walk and talk on all 3 blades is excellent.
