If anyone from Case checks in here, I sure hope y’all let Reese Bose continue to work on these collaborative knives. I believe they are the best thing Case has going. This one is very well built.

Thank you very much bigfish64 bigfish64 . I really wanted this version of the Wharncliff Trapper, because it seems true to Tony Bose’s vision. Also, it seems like Case did a better job on the Wharncliff Trapper than some of the other collaborative knives.

Some years ago, when Tony Bose designed the Swayback for Case, they gave him a handful of knives to try out and assess! Tony checked this one out for quality, fit and finish; even testing the Rockwell hardness of the blades - 58! Then he honed the edges, and blued the carbon steel (CV - a good way to forestall rust) blades, and gave me this one when he finished with it!
