Sorry I've been MIA for a while - I take my supply of old Case knives to this thread seriously!! I also like the thread because you all keep me apprised of Case's latest offerings!!
Here is a larger Case Tested (~1920-1940) Rope or Sailor's knife!!
At 4 1/8" is has about an acre of famous Case Greenbone handle on it!!

Nice Case Knife and a nice shield. Seen it on the hunters Trapper series before - a good picture prop would be a box of Winchester Double XX shotshells. OH

Got a chance to take a photo of my two Case Lockback shark knives last evening. Both from the 1980's and well used without being worn out at all - 98% of their life still left in them. OH

Still my favorite Case knife.
Something classy about a beautiful pen knife.
This one is so well made, almost perfect to my eye.
This one does not sit in a safe, I carry it often and enjoy it very much.

Not ignoring you Pollack but having collected Case Knives for years I don't know and haven't ever seen it published. Unlike Buck Knives, that publishes all kinds of information about their steels, Case seems to be pretty secretive about the steel topic - only referencing CV steel and Tru-Sharp medical grade stainless. If I ever see the information I will save it (like I have done for Buck Knives). OH
