Let's see your Traditional Case knives, old to new.

Back in the day when Case made a quality piece of cutlery. Smooth Appaloosa Bone A62009 1/2. Circa 1979. I think this model A62009 only came out in '79 and '80...but I could (and probably am) mistaken.

You can post a 6380 any time, IMO, Donald!! I love those whittlers!!

Here is a Cattle pattern from 1987, an NKCA club knife. '87 was a mediocre time for Case - their grinds and fit & finish were not up to their best. This knife sits in my safe with better examples of Case, grumbling because it gets no attention!! :oops:View attachment 1643984View attachment 1643985
I had one of those for a while but traded it off. It looked very much inside and out like a Camillus contract knife, very similar to the construction of the 640045R. Might not have been, but it sure looked it.

This one is definitely The jewel of all my Case knives and that says a lot because I have some really nice ones although that statement may be a little bias ;)
But It’s official 😁

🤣🤣🤣 We’ve all heard “official statements” before Ed, these come to mind:

“Read my lips, no new taxes!”
-George H W Bush Rep. Nat. Con. 1988

"I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky."
-Bill Clinton Televised speech 1998

“This one is definitely The jewel of all my Case knives”
-Ed “TheFactor” Blade Forums Sept. 2021

Pretty sure we all know how “official statements” go. 😉👍
🤣🤣🤣
All kidding aside, they are pretty cool knives. I’m glad I picked one up too, and I’m not even a full sized double blade trapper fan.

This is another jack, pre 1964. It is a 62087 serpentine small jack. About 3 3/8" closed length, with nice bone handles. Case seemed to stop puting bone handles on this model after 1970, switching to Delrin. I just much prefer organic bone handles to Delrin.

Nice 07 and 87 :thumbsup::thumbsup: Two patterns I like very much. Case has a 2021 87 with bone handles:

With the yellow Tribal Lock's recent arrival, I updated a family shot of the yellow synthetics. Unless Case releases a yellow synthetic Tear Drop, I'm likely done acquiring yellows as I have the patterns I like. Yes, there are two pens shown, I have three (2 CV and 1 SS). I misplaced one (CV) for long enough I bought a second, and found the first some time after the second had arrived. I picked up a SS version when I had a chance.
