Let's see your Traditional Case knives, old to new.

A couple of two-blade case knives in jigged rosewood for wooden Wednesday. A 1974, 6-dot 6217 "Loom Fixer" in CV and a 2014 large trapper in SS. The pull on the loom fixer is stout, requiring some attention when opening or closing. The knife is solid and hefty. The trapper is a little longer overall but carries lighter. I prefer the lighter, smother walk and talk of the trapper, but like the jigging and solid heft of the loom fixer very much. The rosewood on the trapper is a great color, but the jigging, while attractive, is relatively light.

Thank you! I got it on another forum sveral years ago for about a quarter of what the bone versions fetch. Definitely a sturdy handful. It carries pretty much exactly like the GEC Angus Jack, being just 1/8" longer than the AJ, and very close in girth and weight.
