A little SORB (Smooth Old Red Bone) appreciation. The mini copperlock is the one with large gap at the cap end. Instead of sending it back to Case, I've decided to make it my go-to for anything other than food for a while, and see how well the PVD coating wears. Since I don't do much hard-use anymore, it'll probably wear pretty well. It's broken down a couple handfuls of boxes for recycle, opened a lot of mail, cut cord, yada yada yada...

How about some Muskrat love?!

Funny thing, although Tony Bose was the face of Case knives, he based his version of the Muskrat on a vintage Remington pattern. He loved those old Remingtons. I suspect that it was his idea to make this one in the Hawbaker style. Does anyone know if Remington made any knives for Hawbaker?

Can't answer your question, but that Damascus is looking good.
