Let's see your Traditional Case knives, old to new.

Unfortunately I don't have pictures of all of them, but I have a picture I took of my mostly Case drawer last fall. I had others as well, and I've picked up some more since then! 😉 I posted the three toothpicks somewhere else, but it'll fit here too!

Apple #2 on this new CS Case blade since getting it yesterday and the patina is coming along quickly.

The 25-1/2 is a great size, bigger than a peanut , smaller than an 08 half whittler but a larger main blade.
All 3 are great sizes really and I can't say I favor one over the other but I'm sure some will favor the size of the 25-1/2.

The last couple Case's I've bought were very high quality, one was nearly GEC quality. Did Case improve quality or did I just happen to get lucky?

Best regards,

I have a decent number of newer Case products, and I've not run into a lot of major quality issues. I may be a touched biased because I'm lucky (unluckily for my wallet!) to work at a Case dealer, so I get to handle a lot of them. The few knives that I've returned are three bladed knives that are scraping, or issues with handle color/fit. I've never owned a GEC, so I can't compare unfortunately.

Can’t answer that but a Case stockman I purchased from Knives and tools here in Europe had blade scratches and I wasn’t too impressed by the initial sharpness. But I didn’t have the energy to return it. I’m thinking the scratches will help me get over my reluctance to actually use it and to treat it more like my RRs 😀
