I have a decent number of newer Case products, and I've not run into a lot of major quality issues. I may be a touched biased because I'm lucky (unluckily for my wallet!) to work at a Case dealer, so I get to handle a lot of them. The few knives that I've returned are three bladed knives that are scraping, or issues with handle color/fit. I've never owned a GEC, so I can't compare unfortunately. The last couple Case's I've bought were very high quality, one was nearly GEC quality. Did Case improve quality or did I just happen to get lucky?
Best regards,
Can’t answer that but a Case stockman I purchased from Knives and tools here in Europe had blade scratches and I wasn’t too impressed by the initial sharpness. But I didn’t have the energy to return it. I’m thinking the scratches will help me get over my reluctance to actually use it and to treat it more like my RRsThe last couple Case's I've bought were very high quality, one was nearly GEC quality. That is a really nice holster that looks like it needs some carry time. Supertucks are all I use

Tremendous pattern, but I'd opt for a Bone one for preference if I could get hold of one. Elegance & utilityView attachment 1797420

I highly recommend the Case/Bose Cattle Knife. There is something about the size and shape that make it very nice to carry and use. Just the right size and proportions.
