• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Let's see your Traditional Case knives, old to new.

An unusual Case! Several years ago Case's wonderful relationship with Tony Bose brought him into an experiment, encouraged by Tony, to make a knife with 154-CM steel to try out that particular material!!! Case made a short run of them (2006 or so?) and gave a bunch to Tony, to distribute to people he knew, to try it out!!
Being friends with Tony, but not much of a steel nerd, he gave me one, but I never used it nor developed a report of it! My Bad!!Case Bose experiment 1.jpgCase Bose experiment 2.jpgCase Bose experiment 3.jpg Those of you who know the Case tang markings can figure out the year this happened!
I believe the 154-CM steel preceded the 154-CPM version of the steel, which is now made from powdered material. I understand it is a "wonder steel" on this knife, but it remains a safe queen, perhaps for some future owner to test!!
R.I.P. Tony Bose!!!
