Trav @Travman, that's a wonderful brace of Cases.

Am I wrong in thinking Case has gotten away somewhat from making that kind of solid traditional? Some of theirs strike me as a bit garish, and how long has it been since their last Barlow? (I do like some of their current offerings. Have my eye on a bone Sodbuster right now.)

I have a hard time understanding why Case does not make a Barlow run every year . I did get a new one in 2014 , and it is Okay . They make so many patterns and variations of each that sooner or later there is some very nice ones that appeal to me . It appears to me though that the majority of their market must like Candy Colored knives or they would not make so many of them . I do really like their Gunstock , Saddlehorn , and Seahorse Whittlers though .
Good luck on getting a Bone Sodbuster Tom . I have a Yellow Delrin Sodbuster but have never carried it , so I can not give an opinion on it . I think Case still makes a solid traditional user , but that probably is not their main market .

It never looked so good!
Thanks Alan that means alot to me coming from a photographer such as yourself!
I have some additional photo ideas which should be seen soon. If they turn out it's only because that sweet Case is so photogenic.

Thanks for all the likes and comments guys. It's a 6231 1/2 pattern. The knife is going to be a gift soon if I can pull it off.
