You know I have no Idea about the Damascus as it’s my first with any maker . This knife like most of my knives will very rarely see any hard use in my urban environment. Maybe do some play whittling , food prep and many envelopes lol . I did strop with some green compound since the edge was pretty toothy but sharp . I’m sure would of been fine depending what your using it for . About 20 light strokes per side and it’s razor sharp now with still some bite . Seems to hold a edge well with light use.
I’m more of a light user ,collector, fondler not necessarily in that order or all of the above lol .

I hoped it looked as good in person as it did in the canned one picture for all knives . I admired it for months until I finally took the leap as I saw it drop to limited stock left and couldn’t wait any longer . I’m so glad beyond words I made that decision
Just got my first case knife a trapper. Only my 2nd traditional knife with a SAK.

Just got this BSA 6208 splitback half whittler on behalf of the generosity of abbydaddy and the generosity of WR CASE & SONS for donating a few knives for him to give away in honor of his passed brother.
