See, I've posted that pic elsewhere, and no one else noticed that. Makes me wonder 'bout you Pit. I forgot that was there until I started going throught the pics.

I had been going out by myself for a few weeks before I went to the gathering, so, my clothing standards were a little low. Take heart, there is a patch there.

Stop lookin' at my crotch.:D

What'd you hit with the spine of the B9 to dimple it like that?
Knocked a chunk out of it with a Plumb 48oz. Engineer's hammer. Messed up, and hit it off-center.
It's had the coating beaten mostly off, been refinished a few times, and recently got buffed when I sent it to Busse to get the edge back to a more durable convex one after experimenting with different edge angles and thicknesses over the course of several years. Lots of use, and intentional abuse, too. Great knife.

I always liked the looks of the busse basic series.....Just all distilled function and nothing else....Ballpeen hammer :eek::eek: Well at least it was a plumb!

The best Busse ever made the Mr. Mofo and Fehrman hoodhunter. I remember batoning the mofo in the dark one night to get dry wood for a fire and it was the toughest log ever! I had misjudged the 6" log and pounded the blade over half way through with the choil! I can't imagine too many blades taking that kind of punishment.

Moose, this post alone should get you at least a 25% discount off your next Becker knife purchase . . ;)
This picture deserves an 8 1/2" X 11" glossy w/ oak frame. . :)
Good shot.
Be safe.

Terror Monkey Desert Storm Fighter -- 8" blade / .22" thick of INFI -- weighs in at only 14.5 ounces!

When talking size versus weight ratio this knife cannot be beat.

7-10, lets see

For starters, a Busse FFBM: 10 inch blade and about .3 thick since I stripped it

If the FFBM is too big, then the Busse NMSFNO: 8 inch blade and a little less than .25 since I stripped it also
