Look we all know Spyderco makes great knives, and they often listen to us - Joe E. Consumer when it comes to knife design. So lets have a Bladeforums vote. Whoever would like to see an Endura sized G 10 Harpy come in to production and be available to non LEO's please follow this post with a Hell YES or a Hell NO. This way Sal can get a decent sampling of consumer reaction, do a laborous cost analysis to determine feasiblity and give us an answer. Thanks The Toecutter.

yep. I'd add two to my colection. One for my wife, of course, as this style of knife is a great inuitive defensive design, IMO.
Also makes an awesome box opener.

THE POWERS THAT BE WON'T LET US NORMAL FOLK HAVE ONE OF THE BEST KNIVES IN THE WORLD. Plus I think the Matriarch's blade may be to thin for what I need it for. But I'll never see one up close to find out!

It's already out.They named it the Matriarch!I use mine for a "Jogging" knife.It is a nice size between the Harpy and the Civilian.Almost as long as the Civilian but without the weight.
 
Toecutter; you should be living over here in Sweden instead. Then you could just walk into your local knife/gun store and get yourself a Matriarch. Plus we also get all Spydie models long before you. Brag, brag...

There was a "concept knife" (no pictures, don't try to buy one) there called the Matriarch II, with a large Harpy-Merlin type blade on an Endura type handle. That's a rather robust hawkbill, and not an S-curve with a slender point like the Matriarch.
