Let's Talk About Your Favorite Spydies

The Air is hands down my favorite. I didn't expect this at all, but the combination between its size, cleanability, and clipless design makes it perfect for everything. I thought I would like the Des Horn more but that one seems to fall out of my pocket a lot due to the slick scales. But that is definitely #2. Nothing else comes close.

These two are my favorites...Slysz Bowie and Techno.

meh, those are old. We need a new "whats your favorite Spyderco thread" at least a few times a year. :D Shoot, they are coming out with 30 new models this year alone! Anyway, If you had asked me this question a year ago i would have answered either pm2 or military, but I recently acquired a knife that has put both of those in the back seat.
This has become my favorite edc knife by a mile. Excels at all of the daily tasks for which I use a pocket knife. Everything one could love about the Delica, but with a blade which I find more useful for my typical chores. Seriously, I'm absolutely in love with this one!

edit: I have a Pacific Salt which is really kind of my all time favorite because of the daily use it gets in my kayak fishing, but I answered as if we were just talking about our everyday carries.

May I ask how you sharpen this S-curve type blade?

Man, I want one of these so badly.

I just can't get a feel through pictures for how big the Slysz Bowie is. It looks much smaller than I thought here.

I think my favorite Spyderco are my Natives. Old school FRN Native (4?) and a Fluted Titanium Native 5.

For a long time I couldnt bring myself to buy a Spydie the strange shapes just turned me off. I finally got a Para 2 and loved it and Ive since gotten a handful more.

But my favorite Spydie by far is my Native 5 ... I usually carry a bigger knife and the Native 5 or just the Native 5 in areas I can't carry a larger knife.

I put a few of my similarly sized knives next to the Slysz Bowie so that you can get a better idea of size. I tried to select some of the more popular knives in that size range hoping that you might already be familiar with at least one or more of these. I hope this helps.

That's extremely helpful, and not just with the Slysz!
