Let's talk eye safety

Trend Airshield Pro is expensive but after 2 pieces of steel in the eye from grinding it is a cheap investment. I have 2 of them now, one in each of my shops

I saw that in the other thread but honestly I'm concerned about wearing something so bulky. I'm a bit hunched over at the grinder as it is and after an hour I can really feel it in my neck and shoulders. How does the weight compare to a regular respirator?
 
On the subject of eye protection, does anyone use UV blocking goggles or shields when grinding Ti? If so, what are you using ?
 
Do any of you guys wear an opti-visior when working? Does anyone know of a shield that will work with one? Any info would be greatly appreciated...Teddy
