I may be wrong, but kind of have my doubts on a NF 36 now that they have the 88 Bayou parts pictured under "what's happening". If that's the case though, it jumped out in front of the bull in the hallway too.

Good point. That may very well be. We may have jumped the gun on that being another pattern. They announced the 88 some time ago to be released early this year, and have already put 2 in front of it. Also, cows are sacred and protected in India, but ironically, bulls are not. I was told the bone for both covers are actually from India.
 
Here are the blades for the 88, for some reason these blades look more like sheepsfoot than lambsfoot to me although the mockup definitely looked like a lambsfoot. Any thoughts?

It looks pretty Lambsfoot-like to me... I can definitely see the spine tapering down.
 
Holy cow I’ve actually scored a GEC! Not a Yankee Barlow that I was hoping to find but the Liberty with a clip blade. Clip blades are my favorite so hoping I’ll like the little guy. At least I’m hoping I’ve scored one since I’ve placed an order and received a confirmation.

I was big into slipjoints when the GECs first hit the scene and I didn’t really like them because I thought they were too big. Then I carried a Spyderco Delica for years and years. I started carrying my Case’s again lately and got the itch for a GEC having no idea how hard they are to get nowadays.
 
I'm really curious to see what the handle materials will be on the 88's outside of jigged bone. I'd love to have that in nice stag, but it looks like it would take some sizable slabs to cut out the curves. With the current issue of getting larger slabs of higher quality, I have my doubts.

If you do indeed score it, you will love that clip blade. It actually acts like it's bigger than it is. Congrats!

Thay aren't hard to get. There are a couple of dozen folks who get every single one and then post pictures here.
