Lets talk GEC!

Cool knife, but I wish it had end caps, a bomb shield, Northfield trim, and jigged bone. But I could probably be persuaded to overlook the lack of end caps. Probably. Fingers crossed for the Northfield version.

Don't they usually have more than one cover choice.my 85 cap lifter had an acrylic a micarta and smooth bone.

That’s a bit disappointing! Orange scramble is not a bad acrylic, but I was hoping for the original orange crush acrylic.
Yup,the orange crush that jiki posted is my want,or that orange acrylic on the 59 sfo heynowww had,or caramel apple that jiki owns.but scramble, not really.

Just saw the picture of the crown lifter in orange crush acrylic on the site. Not a big fan of this one.
I'd like to see some jigged bone like they did on the M&G 86 that was just released.

i wonder whats the over and under on that caplifter snapping. it looks shrunk down so im sure we will likely see some tool snaps

What kinda beer/soda do you drink? 🤣

Oh right, I guess if it's used as a screwdriver or pry tool, there could be an issue.

i have always preferred to use the right tool for the job. that being said, i usually tend to have a $1 key chain bottle opener that provides the perfect amount of leverage to get a cap off just right, the first time every time. in fact, id rather use a bic lighter and physics than that tiny 2-3mm thick lifter to attempt to get a cap off. the caplifter has always just been a gimmick to me. thats why the beerscout didnt stick around for me, and I love the gec 15 models for the most part.
