Lets talk GEC!

Hadn't realized a long pull 15 Spear had come out in 2021- must have fallen asleep at the wheel :D Mind you, it is nearly three years now...;) All steel too? That's decisive. Be a nice companion for this Smooth Bone Clip- just a very useful and aesthetic pocket-knife that's improving all the time.

Just a proof of concept run, now they need to do the full allotment of covers. 😉

Yes, still deluding myself about a truly Classic Acrylic they're cooking up..but maybe? Smooth Bone too  Black Camel (kind of Piebald but I like the effect)

I missed out on the gentleman jack stag in 14,but I have lots of time left, God willing.I'm sure the next pattern to come will have a high probability of me liking one of the configurations .let the knives roll out lol.

Do folks think we’re ever likely to see GEC do an actual run of bunny knives with various covers. The forum knife was obviously a hit and I’m surprised they haven’t followed up on that with their own line. I’d jump at the chance to own and use one as I’m sure many would.

It'd have to be a clip to be a true bunny/rabbit knife wouldn't it?

That's a beauty at any rate though.
It's my understanding that it also needs to be black to be a "true" bunny knife so there is that.

It is also traditional for cutlers to have their own interpretations of these things lol. Or at least that is what I see when I look through old catalogs. 👍

Some folks aren’t patient enough to wait for GEC to do a run in the blade configuration of their choice.

17037837047923489246158542358710.jpgI have the 39 from gec and the 39ish made for marbles at queen when bill hòward was in charge.i haven't used the 39 yet because I'm spoiled with gec and case to try.but it is a great pattern that fits the hand nicely.im in the process of lowering the Pen blade on the 39 to make access to the long nail nick on the spear a little easier. On the marbles the pen is behind the spear with nail nicks on opposite sides.but i get stuck using 3 or 4 patterns and have a hard time changing,I guess I'm just loyal or scared of change lol.or else if it ain't broke don't fix it.
