I remember those early days of GEC, Dan. I bought a couple of my #53 Cubans off the Bay second hand for around $55. My first ever new GEC was this Big Jack in bone for $79 from Mike at CollectorKnives. Still have it, too!

YES that is exactly the reason for my hypothesis of the 16. I remembered seeing that and thought it was only logical. (If GEC is listening, stag please)

The 48 announcement was sort of unexpected but I guess it's been a few years for that pattern. Really though I just want more 35's.

I was guessing 56 because of the spacing of the hanging knives. When I looked up #56 it's their reverse dogleg Jack and there's some doglegs in the photo.... So that's my guess lol
