Lets talk GEC!

Anyone have pictures of "Cougar Claw Bone?" Is it the long grooves, as opposed to the "Bear Claw Bone" which is more criss-crossy? I'm trying to picture what it might look like on the upcoming #35 Churchill.

I did an image search a week or so ago for the same reason. I wanted an idea of what it looked like before I put in my reservation. Most, if not all, of the photos that came up were long grooves.

It looks quite nice but I reserved a Yellow Rose instead.

Yes, 'tis mine :) Haha, the etch really is loud and I have somewhat preserved it as a novelty for a while. Will disappear quick enough when the time comes.

I also prefer a drawn swedge on my spears if they are used in a multi bladed knife. Single blade spears I prefer a cut swedge as they look more dramatic.

I agree. Also, I have an old Utica bullet end jack with a spear main and a pen second, and I just LOVE its huge, dramatic cut swedge.

Cougar Clawed from the recent #74 release.

I have this fanciful hope that the jigged bone on the 81 will be brownish-black with white patches, and finely textured, resembling a real bull moose.

Never gonna happen, but until they announce the colors, MAYBE IT COULD.

I couldn't make the Rendezvous so I bought myself this. Only number two in my collection, A Beaver Tail 541217 with Jigged Brazilian Cherry Wood. Yes, of course I had to have a knife with a Beaver on it. At 4" closed, it's hand filling and ready to work! I love this knife.

I'm far from in the loop with the M&G sfos, but I really wish they did them more frequently. They remind me a lot of the Galvonic 92s.
They seem to bring a level of vintage that isn't seen often enough. I actually like those big old timey etches.

So what happens to all the leftover #25 blades, springs, and liners that didn't get used when some of the Ivory acrylic slabs didn't work out? Will the make parts knives (Factory Specials) with these pieces for next Rendevous?
