Lets talk GEC!

Does anyone have any info on the recently finished, I believe, F&F 65 fish knife. I thought I saw some pics a little while ago and I read about woodland muslin micarta, anyone ever seen it? Thanks in advance
I saw one pop up on the big auction site. So, they should be hitting dealers soon???
Edit: Ooops. My mistake, it was from the '13 run. Sorry.

I am so happy they are making the H10 Bowie knife. It is hard to choose between the micarta and cherry. I can’t get both.......

My understanding is the H10 can be ordered from GEC and they are waiting on some sheaths to arrive before they sell them. Customer service told me they were keeping a list.

It is clear to me that GEC’s current large production runs will dramatically limit the number of patterns we see them produce each year. I have been forced into the secondary market to find a few patterns that might not be made again for a long time like this 42 Missouri Trader. The high prices hurt, but this is offset somewhat by the fact that I am buying far fewer knives. I also have the luxury of cherry picking the best ones.

Gregg there is a dealer modifying some of thier stock to present a different option.

I really like it when people reminisce about patterns that GEC keep firmly locked away, we've all got ones we need to see again.

I have a pretty fair collection of 68 White Owls but for some insane reason I never bought one in Spear :eek:o_O:poop: We all have idiocies we regret :D But I'd love to get hold of a Spear White Owl, any scales...

LastRodeo LastRodeo I had one of those Northfields and it had been de-bailed-was Clip though and I gave it away.

But that Bocote gives me a 'Clint moment' :D Well do ya want to hold on to that Bocote? well do ya???;)

On another note, I received an email from Chris this morning; appears they ran out of #65 fish knife parts before they were able to produce any in nifebrite. That's a real bummer.

That is a bummer. I wish that the 93 had a Nifebrite version. It’s been too long!
