This thread has made me realize I need some pics of my 'chetes... I like a 14"-16" chete personally.. maybe a condor,martindale, or tramotina.. or?? I have a few I've modified from 18" bush to 14" golok and or reformed handles etc.. of course nothing like 42blades... which makes me want to try out the 20" viking hes been pushing for about a year now..

the marbles shown is actually a pretty decent 'chete 2mm thick IIRC, and reasonable/serviceable sheath.

My favorite is my Corneta/Imacasa 22" I bought ~5 years ago at a flea market. Below is not mine but it looks like it:
I also have a 18" Tramontina and the same Marbles bolo as seen in previous post by LastDaze.

My favorite machete is my Koyote machete.. works like a champ. However, I am pretty fond of the Condor Bolo, Viking, and Golok that I have as well. I don't consider the Golok a machete though.. as IMO it is a little thick for that. I also have a marbles machete that has served me well for the past year, has seen a lot of use and keeps coming back for more.
