  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Lets talk tomahawks, hatchets, breacher axes, etc!

how FAT is thing going to be?

Somewhere around .315" or so... not 100% sure just yet. I will probably use S7 or 3V.

You know I like thick! I will make sure it is still fast in the hand though... that combo is too cool.

I would like to see someone make some of the old school american axes or hatchets used for general purpose hunting camping and forestry work.

Daniel, I like Matt's idea: full tang, spike and pry end.

That is the plan!

I am a big fan of that sort of thing. Mine will be a more modern style but I do agree!

I used to chop a lot of wood for the fire here in Colorado, a good axe, maul and hatchet is key. I use a hatchet a lot for kindling and a splitting maul for rounds. I have tried a lot of tools and techniques over the years as firewood prep can take a great deal of time here. My wife got into splitting the rounds with the maul, lol she is only 120 pounds. I like a big chopper for kindling too.

I cribbed that from a fat-chick joke ;)

"She's so fat, she has smaller fat chicks trapped in her orbit!"

Dude, you rock! that was pretty good

I've got a knife so big it has it's own zip code! :p

Full tang, with ergo, G10 scales, with a simple long beard cutting edge with diff hardened hammon line, combined with a rounded conicle spike/ pommel on the other end.
