A while back there was a "Trade" thread here where if someone had anything they wanted to trade they could post it. Want to try it again? It does not only need to knives, anything is fine. If interested, it might be a good idea to post trade value.

Anyone can post trade items, but the only ones who can post sale items are regular posters on this forum with a Gold Membership!

Good idea. I have a few more knives then i can use at the moment and was trying to decide what to so wit them I'll post them up soon.
 
I have a Yaesu HF Radio. I would like to trade it for a few George Washingtons.
 
I need to think on items I might consider for this but I really like the idea of a trade thread here off the regular exchange!

So you will take a couple of quarters for it? All kidding aside, since you are not a gold member you cannot sell, only trade.
 
If you are a Gold Member you may post what you would sell it for in case anyone wants to buy outright.
 
Just to be clear John - how do you feel about selling JK knives here? Seems like it could be a distraction from your own sales. I can understand and appreciate the trading opportunity but I feel a bit uneasy about also posting a sale price.

Yes - I can sell on the exchange - so what's the difference? Well it's not like I'm coming into your store and selling YOUR items off your counter.


Just asking how you feel about this so that we all understand the protocol of this trade forum.

This is different from Peter - KYenglish - who is selling his own work/JK hybrid.

I have no problem with it as long as you are a Gold Member (which you are). I figure the way things are going any chance to get a knife is fine..

My JK Toby's Knife with purple heart scales in CPMS30V.

This is marked number one on the flip side as I believe it is the 1st (maybe only) TK in CPMS30V.

This one measures 7-1/2" OAL with 3-1/8" cutting edge.

It is virtually new only lightly used in the kitchen but selling as it has not proven to be my wife's go to knife which is what I bought it for. She's the primary cook and way fussy about her cooking utensils. Me? I like the TK but she wants more room on the knife rack and this one is not one I will EDC.

WILL TRADE FOR - an equal value or with a bit of cash - but I'd rather not be the guy spending money. Let's talk. I might have a few other incentives if need be. NO KNIFE TRADES THOUGH - I HAVE PLENTY OF NICE KNIVES.

IN NO ORDER OF PREFERENCE

• A decent trail cam

• A camera lens - zoom or macro that will fit a Canon EOS Rebel SL1

• a cool hawk or small hatchet - preferably something unique.

I tried selling this guy a while back for $35 IIRC but am open to trades if anyone wants a nice old Western L36 with the split tang stacked leather handle.
It is in great shape, with a nice solid handle and virtually unused blade, just the pepper spots for character.
I have sanded the leather handle a bit(just a itta bit) to lighten it up, so it is more brown than black now.
I'm interested in pocket knives in the 3.5" and under length range.(stockmans, jacks, VICs with saws.)

JK Necker I put osage and walnut scales on it with brass tube pins, 6" OA 2 3/4" blade, 1/8" 01 steel, has a little Kydex sheath I had to remold to fit the handle

Thanks Mike. I love the old fixed blades like that western but I just can handle any more knives right now :)
 
I'm looking to sell or trade my Mini Pot... Brand new. Cost $140 from JK. Sale price is $115. Trade would be for a SW JK Element or a GEC/Northfield/Northwoods/Tidioute knife. Prefer whittlers and conductors with bone handles.

I've got a dozen HEPA filters, new in the boxes, from a hospital OR renovation I was part of. The hospital replaced AHU's, since the manufacturer of the new unit recommended a different brand filter (same specs) the hospital sent $20K+ in filters to the landfill. I saved a few for future projects. They are 44" x 20" x 2 3/4", mounted with ductwork into a standard 2x4' ceiling grid. These were the supply filters for an operating suite. I plan on building a blower motor assembly one day to use these in a work shop for dust control, but I'd be willing to trade some of them.

hey guys.
i have a couple for sale or trade.

i have a utility that is numbered 1 on it. it is a sheepsfoot with a straight edge and black micarta handle. i may have got this from Andy, at some point. i have never used it, so it is time to see if i can find it another home. i really do like the handle on this one and the weight to it. it has a nice balance (to me). since this was a gift, i'd rather do a trade on this one. i will post pics in the near future. no sheath.

i also have a panfish that has homemade brown paper micarta. super comfy handle, but there are problems with it. voids in the handle. it does not affect performance. at least, i don't expect it would. i have never used it. and, i never did get around to re-doing it. so, this is offered as a "working knife". i would trade or sell it....maybe $75? there is no sheath. it can be viewed here....

i am also toying with the idea of selling my Springfield Armory XD in 9mm. this one is not for trade. i believe this is the 4" barrel. though, it may be 3.8" if they offer that setup. i will check on that. this one is the kit. it has a hard case, a holster (plastic) and 3 magazines (the store i bought it from threw in an extra. usually, it is just 2). i will also add pics in the next day or so. i just wanted to see if there is interest. i would sell for $460, which would be shipped to your FFL.
