Let's Try This Again, Trade Thread

Yep. Whats really needed is flat mouth style bottle opener with wood handles.
No body makes them and I know they would sell like hot cakes.

These from nighthaxan never last more than a couple of days.
I like this idea[emoji2]

I used to offer bottle openers with handles. If your pictures were still showing with dimensions, I`m sure I could again.

Ill take a new one tonight. I actually have a handmade flat mouth opener I would like yall to look at.
Nighthaxan made it for me, and that's why I sold the other ones.
The flatmouth style works so much better than the 'cap lifter' style.

With the cap-lifter style, I sometimes have to work my way around the bottle before the cap will come off.

With the flat-mouth style, I can pop that sucker right off there, no problem.

Wow. That sucker is brand new. Why selling so quick? Hell, why even buy it?

It's not quite what I was looking for. Interests change. Bought other knives I'll use more. Pretty much basically why we all sell knives and why we all look for good deals on BF. My loss could be someone else's gain

Well, said. I was afraid my statement might be viewed as 'trolling'.
I thought the blade looked a little long for my taste. I went with the 'Hunter' model Element with the Sheepfoot blade, and couldn't be any happier.
Ill be buried with that knife! :D

I really like the look of yours as well. I think most of all I've been enjoying the thinner grinds. More of a slicing knife.

brnign this one back up

I rounded the sanded on the scales a little and took it to a 600 grit finish, but haven't managed to use it more then cutting a few slices of paper.

If you guys think this thread is working, I`ll leave it open and not close it next week. The only reason I was going to close it is that when I get inquiries about knives, and give price quotes, people ask me why I`m charging so much, so and so is selling one on your forum for less than that.

Fine by me either way. Most who post stuff here will also be posting in the exchange anyway. (Myself Included)
I would hate for one of us to cut you short because we're selling your knives on your own forum for a cheaper price.

Coming from you they are brand new. What is there to wonder, except how numb people can be. Selling on the exchange in any case is a losing money proposition. Even a 2 day old NIB knife ends up losing value unless it is super rare - factor in the S&H and PP fees.

I wondered (and asked) about that from the beginning. John is being very generous opening his thread up for us to sell our knives. Perhaps the rule for this thread should be JK trades only and other brands OK to sell. Having said that I have tried to use this thread to sell. One was good another not so much
