You wont damage the blade other than marring the finish. You will ruin the stamp/stamps by trying to stamp a hardened blade. I stamp my blades while they are still annealed which is before heat treat.
 
Darrin is right, you will ruin the stamp and might even crack a thin or weak blade trying to stamp it when already hardened.

The usual way to mark finished blades is to etch them. You might find a local jeweler who could engrave it for you? Maske sure he knows it's hardened too, I don't know if they'd want to do that or not.
