One more large leuku!
This one comes in at 11 3/4 overall with a blade of 7 1/8 inches. 1/8 inch thick 1084, full heat treat and differential temper. Convex ground (scandivex) as per usual. With the leukus I tend to have a slightly variable convex, with a bit steep angle at the ricasso and tip for strength.
Blade is sanded to a 600 grit forge finish, with bluing on the tang and spine to match the overall look.
Handle is fairly beefy, well rounded, olive drab micarta with stainless tubing pins. 4 3/4 inches inside the ricasso guard.
Sheath is ... bombproof. Koyote Girl made, double seamed and hand stitched with double needle harness stitching. Horizontal straps holding the belt hanger are stitched on separately, with independent seams. Belt hanger is fully adjustable, removable, and reversible. This one is done with a 9 ounce leather, and the main wel seam is a hair over a half inch thick. Extra stoopid bombproof.
