Here is a blade up for grabs that i just finished up tonight. Im pretty bad at naming blades.. but i think ill call this model my Leviathan Chopper! or is that too tacky..? :cool:

Specs:

1/4'' W2 Steel at ~58RC
.20 behind the edge (still need to sharpen)
11'' edge
~17 1/2'' OAL

1lb 9 OZ without sheath

Maple Burl (if i can remember correctly) It has been stabilized
Black G10 bolster / liners
Removable hardware

Leviathan sounds pretty good to me...

In all this looks gorgeous, well designed and executed, and highly versatile. It's also a nice blend between a showy knife and a very useful one.

For future versions maybe try out different steels and maybe some micarta and Tero Tuf handles. And beat the snot out of one of them and post it on Youtube...

I appreciate it! Ive made a couple more of these in different handle materials.. but not in different steels just yet. Ive been on a Hamon kick lately!:D
